Senior Associate, Rise of the Rest

Isabelle is a Senior Associate on the investment team at Revolution’s Rise of the Rest Seed Fund. She joined the firm in 2023 and focuses on sourcing, due diligence, and supporting existing portfolio companies.

Prior to joining Revolution, Isabelle was a Corporate Venture and Innovation Associate at Silicon Foundry, a San Francisco-based firm, where she advised Fortune 500 corporations on investing in and partnering with innovative startups. Isabelle also worked for Netflix where she developed privacy products and solutions. She also has experience lobbying for major technology companies.

Isabelle graduated from Wellesley College with a B.A. in Political Science, with a concentration in Internet Law and Policy through a dual enrollment program at MIT. Isabelle was born in D.C. but grew up across five states and two countries, and considers the Bay Area home.

  1. An idea you wish you had come up with? The dog park. It’s basically a perfectly designed system: a community hub, a place to run off energy, and full of unspoken rules everyone just… follows. Or, Notion. It took chaos, made it beautiful, and somehow tricked us all into enjoying documentation.‍
  2. Road trip destination on your bucket list? Mongolia; living out my horse girl dream, and being without any tech for a few weeks to counteract my chronic-online-ness sounds spectacular. ‍
  3. Online, you'll find me…Going a little too deep on everything from ERPs and construction tech to defense policy and healthcare infrastructure. I get weirdly excited about untangling legacy systems, debating whether subcontractor workflows could ever be elegant, and exploring how industrial policy trickles down into startup opportunities. I once even convinced myself that designing seating charts for LP dinners was basically a high-stakes strategy simulation.‍
  4. Offline, you'll find me…Learning how to box (while trying to avoid another concussion); walking through Central Park with my dog, Marni (and screaming at her not to chase the squirrels); trying to attend every Tony-nominated play/musical; hunting through thrift stores for hidden gems (despite my already overflowing closet); reading (100 books per year was perhaps overly ambitious).
