Donna Hoyle

Vice President & Controller

Donna Hoyle is the Vice President and Controller. She joined the firm in 2000 and focuses on treasury, bank compliance, cash management, risk management, and accounting operations.

Prior to joining the team, Donna worked in audit and assurance at Ernst & Young, specializing in the real estate, government contracting, and non-profit industries.

Donna received her B.S.B.A. from Loyola University and holds a Master’s of Accountancy from The George Washington University. Donna is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in D.C.

  1. What is something you admire about entrepreneurs? My son, Chris, is an entrepreneur so I know firsthand the 24-7 creative genius at play. It is a relentless dedication to an idea and the persistence to turn it into a successful business.  During covid, Chris and two of his friends Neil and Randy saw a need to demo software products online since people could no longer have demos in person, so they developed an interactive platform that met the need at the right time. – “Navattic”. Chris, Neil and Randy were all accepted to Y Combinator which accelerated their learning curve on raising capital and all aspects of running a successful business. ‍
  2. Road trip destination on your bucket list? Next trip is to Maui for our Captive Insurance Conference and with an ER vacation to have time to explore the Island. Hawaii is one of my Happy Places.
    As far as road trips, next September I am planning a road trip to Maine to explore Acadia National Park with the hopes of visiting as many National Parks in the coming years as possible.‍
  3. Offline, you will find me…… Running, yoga, tennis, and Swing Dancing at Glen Echo on the weekends.
