Statement from Steve Case on President Obama’s Immigration Reform Actions

On Thursday, November 20th, President Obama will announce a series of Immigration Accountability Executive Actions. Below is a statement from Steve Case on the anticipated actions.

If America is to remain the world’s most innovative and entrepreneurial nation, we must win the global battle for talent – and that includes fixing our broken immigration system. The steps President Obama is announcing will help provide some immediate limited relief, including for foreign born entrepreneurs and high skilled workers.  I realize these temporary actions may frustrate some, but I remain optimistic that Congress will make passing a permanent solution a priority. The President took the first step – now’s the time for Congress to take the next step.
