Scott Somer

Controller

Scott Somer brings an extensive background in finance and accounting to his role as Corporate Controller for Revolution. He is responsible for the financial reporting, accounting, forecasting and analysis for Revolution.

Prior to Revolution, Scott spent 10 years at Allied Capital Corporation, a publicly traded business development company, with an over $3 billion portfolio of debt and equity investments in private middle market companies and real estate investments. Scott worked in both the financial operations and transaction services groups.

In the financial operations group, Scott was responsible for the accounting, tax and investment servicing functions at Allied Capital. He directed the staff in all aspects of accounting, financial reporting, including SEC reporting, and forecasting results. In the transaction services group, Scott led the management and organization of the financial modeling, due diligence and research for buyouts and leveraged finance transactions in various industries, such as business services, financial services, consumer products, energy services and healthcare services.

Scott holds a B.A. in Economics from the University of Virginia and is a CPA.
